💡 Local Insider Tips & Regulations
Our licensed local guides are experts in volcanic safety and regional history. Pro-tip: The sulfur gases at Ijen Crater are highly corrosive; we recommend removing all silver jewelry before the hike, as it will tarnish instantly upon contact with the air. Additionally, ensure you carry a small amount of cash in IDR for local snacks and horse rides at Bromo.
Following current Indonesian travel regulations, a basic health certificate may be required for trekking active volcanoes. Our team assists all guests in obtaining these locally or provides guidance on the latest requirements to ensure a smooth entry into the National Parks.
⚠️ Notice: The Blue Fire
The Ijen Blue Fire is a rare, naturally occurring phenomenon. Its visibility is strictly dependent on daily volcanic activity, weather conditions, and current Ijen Crater National Park safety regulations. We cannot guarantee that you will see the Blue Fire during your hike. Please consult with our travel experts regarding the current crater conditions before making your booking.
